Daily Express. 1945. Very good condition. Cover: Rupert flying in air on a bicycle with wings. Castle overlooking sea in background. Some splitting away of spine from binding to front joint. Spine has been repaired - reglued, split to top of spine. Wear and bumping to spine - but looks very good for age. Foxing to covers and outer page edges and a few page margins. A little creasing to corners of book. Inscription in ink to inside front cover. Not price-cut. Name in ink in belongs to box. The odd margin mark, else contents are beautiful - lovely and bright!

Daily Express. 1942. Almost very good condition. Pictorial card wraps - Rupert waving from castle ramparts. Produced during the second world war when paper shortages were at their worst, this is the rarest of all the Rupert annuals. Spine has possibly been reglued at some time - so now nice and tight! Battleships transfer on price page. Name erased from belongs to box. Not price-cut. Contents are bright and clean, except for ink stain at top of textblock with affects pages 35 onwards, spreading into the heading for pages 55 to 94, but NOT into the pictures. Front cover is bright and clean. Split for 2" to base of spine. Creasing to some cover corners. Foxing to outer page edges and some pages internally.
